The Golden Gate Chapter
The Golden Gate Chapter (GGC) is the oldest APICS chapter in the Bay Area. Founded in 1960, GGC includes over 250 members, representing local, national, and multi-national companies. Its diverse membership includes Clorox, Genentech, Del Monte Foods, Bio-Rad Labs, Oracle, Safeway, Kurt Salmon Associates, Chiron, Thoratec, Monster Cable Products, United States Mint, Toshiba America, Ghirardelli Chocolate, Bayer Healthcare, Dolby Laboratories, FormFactor, DLA Defense Distribution, Qantel Technologies, PG&E, and R. Torre & Company.
As a not-for-profit organization, we offer unparalleled value in resource management education. Courses are designed to provide a comfortable, friendly learning environment and are taught by certified professionals, experienced in resource management. Classes are conveniently held throughout the Bay Area.
In addition to formal classroom studies, the chapter offers regularly scheduled plant tours and occasional dinner meetings.
