Welcome to the Golden Gater Chapter of The Association for Operations Management Job Bank Network!  Purpose: The purpose of the job bank is to bring together Job Seekers (those looking for jobs) and Employers (those who are seeking candidates to fill jobs) to create an online community that benefits both parties.  Features for the Job Seeker: Cost: Free to all who register for the Job Bank. After initial registration, you can easily access the Job Bank areas by entering your username and password.  Job Finder: Allows you to search all jobs posted by employers to the Job Bank.  Post a Resume: Allows you to make your resume available to registered employers or allows you to send your resume to the employers of your choice.  Employer Profiles: Provides searchable listings of information about the employer such as benefits, which will assist you in making informed decisions about the company. To register as a job seeker, click on GO DIRECTLY TO THE JOB BANK NETWORK (below). Once there, click on REGISTER under New Job Seeker. Complete the on-line registration process. Once you have registered, you will need your user name and password every time you log in the Job Bank Network. Features for the Employer Seeking Candidates: Rates for posting on the Job Bank: $45 per month (per job posting)(This charge includes a generic monthly e-mail broadcast to the membership that will indicate that there are new jobs posted on the web site and that they should log onto the web site to check them out. The e-mail broadcast itself will not carry details about your job, but will only remind members that they should look on the web.) Special e-mail broadcast to the membership: $80 per broadcast -- this e-mail broadcast will be restricted to your message alone, and can carry all the text and details of the job that you write for the ad, to be delivered directly into the e-mail boxes of members. This special broadcast can include a link to your website or contact person. Special e-mail broadcast to the membership when ordered in conjunction with a posting on the website Job Bank: $40 per broadcast (discounted 50% from the regular $80 fee) Employer Resources: Contains several powerful tools you can use to find the most qualified candidates. You can search through the resumes of registered job seekers and create and maintain a searchable Employer Profile for your company. Also, you can check the resumes of job seekers that have confidentially registered with the Job Bank and have decided to contact your company directly.
